Description

After arriving by aerial cable car from Küssnacht, hike from Seebodenalp via Känzeli to Rigi Kaltbad. The trail starts at Seebodenalp and continues gently at first towards Alp Ruodisegg. Once you have passed Ruodisegg, the path climbs through the shady Rigi forests. At the Känzeli look-out point, you are rewarded with fantastic views of Lake Lucerne. Europe's first rack railroad or the cable car takes you back down to the valley. The ticket includes the following rides:

  • from Küssnacht am Rigi to Seebodenalp by cable car

  • from Rigi Kaltbad to Weggis / Vitznau by cable car or cogwheel train

The hike is from Seebodenalp to Rigi Kaltbad or vice versa.

From Vitznau or Weggis, a bus runs every half hour back to Küssnacht to the Seebodenalp cable car station or vice versa.

Here you find an overview map of Mt. Rigi. Here you find the discounts.

At the stations of the Rigi Railways, you will find parking spaces subject to a parking fee. However, we recommend public transport instead of cars: lean back, enjoy and do something good for the environment.
