Finn on the Rigi

On 25 November 2026, the Migros elf Finn will be visiting the Rigi. Children will have the chance to meet Finn and have their photo taken with him. There will also be some craft and colouring activities at Rigi Staffel, as well as a few surprises from Finn.

Timetable

12.30 pm: Finn arrives at Goldau station

12.55 pm: Finn travels from Goldau to Rigi Staffel

1.29 pm: Finn arrives at Rigi Staffel

1.30 pm – 3.45 pm: Photos and crafts with Finn at Rigi Staffel

Tickets

You’ll need a ticket for the ‘Finn on the Rigi’ event. It’s equivalent to a standard day ticket: on 25 November 2026, you can travel on the Rigi Railways as often as you like before, during and after the event.

Prices

• The ticket costs the same as a standard day ticket. The usual concessions also apply.

• The ticket is free for children up to and including the age of 15, as well as for holders of a Generalabonnement or a Rigi Abo.

Important: The ticket is compulsory for everyone

Even if the ticket is free, it must be booked. You can only take part in the event with Finn if you have a booked ticket.

Journey with Finn

The ticket does not guarantee a seat on the train that takes Finn from Goldau to Rigi Staffel. If there are a lot of participants, guests will be split across several trains. You’ll definitely get to experience the visit with Finn at Rigi Staffel.

Good to know

• Parents take the photos themselves; there won’t be a photographer on site. So please feel free to bring your camera or mobile phone.

• Please wrap up warm: it can be cold on Rigi Staffel at the end of November, and there may be snow on the ground. A warm jacket, hat, gloves and weatherproof shoes are recommended.

• The snacks may contain allergens. If you have any questions, the team on site will be happy to help.
