• Cogwheel train ride from Vitznau to Rigi Kaltbad

• Scenic hike along the panoramic trail to Rigi Scheidegg

• Bus ride down to Gersau

• Boat trip across Lake Lucerne or bus ride back to Vitznau (boat service available again starting spring schedule 2026)

• Dogs travel free of charge on Rigi Railways; for boat/bus travel, the SBB dog pass applies. Dogs up to 30 cm (12 in) in suitable carriers travel free of charge.

• Parking spaces are available (fees apply).

• Children travel free when accompanied by an adult with the SBB Junior Card.
