Sunrise ride
Experience the early morning hours on the queen of the mountains and listen to moving alphorn sounds in the midst of peaceful nature.
After a leisurely ride on the rack railroad to Rigi Kulm, an incomparable mountain panorama awaits you at sunrise. After the natural spectacle, the special train from Rigi Kulm takes you back to Goldau or you can set off on a shorter or longer hike and return to the valley on a later scheduled train.
Meeting point
Always 10 minutes before the indicated departure time. It is possible to board the train at Arth-Goldau station or at parking lot A4.

Option with breakfast in the Chäserenholzhütte includes:

The Chäserenholzhütte can be reached in approx. 20 minutes from Rigi Kulm. You can find the right route here.
Execution in good weather, cancellation in case of rain until Friday noon at the latest
Ticket is valid as a day ticket, individual departure
A decision is made every Thursday as to whether the event will take place. From 02:00 pm, it will be announced in the event dates whether the sunrise ride will take place.
