RIGI STUBETE | EVENTZELT RIGI STAFFEL

On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Rigi Stubete will celebrate its premiere at Musikberg Rigi. Inspired by the legendary Stubeten at the “Bärghuis” in Rigi Kaltbad, the tradition is being revived: renowned folk music groups will meet young talents from various regions of Switzerland.

The event consists of two parts:

Young groups on the move (11:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

Young groups from Inner Switzerland, Bern, Appenzell, and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts will play at various locations on the Rigi.

• Alpwirtschaft Heirihütte, Rigi Klösterli

• Restaurant Bahnhöfli, Rigi Staffel

• Restaurant Lok 7, Rigi Staffel

• Hotel Rigi Kulm

Admission to this part of the program is free (hat collection).

Ländler summit meeting in the event tent (from 4:00 p.m.)

In the event tent on Rigi Staffel, the young bands will meet three established folk music bands from Innerschwyz, the Bern region, and Appenzell.

What to expect:

• Moderated concert program

• Several performances by renowned ensembles

• Short performances by young ensembles between concert blocks

• A joint musical finale with all musicians

Finale: approx. 9:15 p.m.

End of event: approx. 9:30 p.m.

The restaurants along the venues and the event tent will provide suitable culinary offerings throughout the day.
