Generations unified

Although we are Europe’s first mountain railway, we also operate the latest generation of trains. Dear passenger: On this special round-trip journey, you’ll experience both generations. From Arth-Goldau, you’ll ride on older rolling stock up to the “Queen of the Mountains.” For the onward journey down to the valley, you’ll transfer to a modern articulated railcar and travel to Vitznau.

On this round-trip journey, you’ll experience the Rigi with two generations of trains: older rolling stock on the trip from Arth-Goldau and modern articulated railcars on the onward journey to Vitznau.

PRICE & TICKET

A valid ticket from the Rigi Bahnen allows for free passage. Children up to the age of 16 and accompanied by an adult travel for free. No reservation necessary.
